Absolutely terrible battery life on my G2

I recently bought a refurbished LG G2 from eBay and it came in perfect condition. I charged it up the first time and the battery was draining so quickly. I decided to do a factory reset and the battery issue is still there. And it's bad. It drop like 1% every couple of minutes. What can I do? I've turned off all automatic updates and stuff and downloaded DU Battery but still it's draining like crazy. What can I do??

You'd have to remove the battery and check voltage, I think. Not an easy task, you could check YouTube...

My phone is always pretty warm, could this be a sign of a bad battery?

No, my G2 got warm regularly. I'm just guessing that the battery could be used up, hey. No guarantees.
