Meanwhile, they're looking at you putting on or taking off a second "skin," or jumping into a mini rainstorm to get wet on purpose, and they think you're even weirder (but they still love you)

Oh that is so true. They are fascinated when I get into the bath. Always follow me in and tiptoe around the edge of the bath.

Ya know, that's a very good question. Every once in a while, the puppy will get something and chew it up. The other two are older and haven't chewed anything up in quite a while. Chewie's (guess which one.. ) weakness is food. He will get anything he can reach, especially chocolate!

2 days ago we had to say goodbye to our little 4lb pocket dog of 14 years, because he was reaching the last stages of cancer :'( It's the first time we've ever had to put a pet down, and it was heartbreaking. Don't mean to bring anyone down, but it's helped a little to share it. Enjoy your furry kids while you can, unfortunately they don't live near as long as we'd like them to

Oh I am truly sorry to read this. Our furry or feathered kids are so filled with unconditional love. The loss is always deep. My heart goes out to you & your family.

I don't think there's anything that makes Chewie happier than fetching a ball or stick. I went outside a while ago, and he starts looking for a ball. Can't find one, so he picks up this five foot long branch from the pile next to the fire pit and brings it to me. He was moving too much to get a very good pic, but it's not as blurry as I expected it to be. OnePlus 8. I broke off about a foot of it and threw that for a while. By the time I was done, there was little bark left on it, and they get really slimy after that if they're not fully dried yet.

My husband cried when both Billy and Ewok were put down recently. He was with both of them when they passed. There is no shame at all. I am glad you got some comfort. I find this community on here to be really supportive and friendly and it is a great place to hang out.

Kizzy you've lost a lot of furry kids lately... I'm sorry :'( you've got such a good approach, I feel like a wimp But you're right, look at the pictures and remember the good times and love. You're leading by example

And Morty thanks for the offer to talk... you're such a sweetheart. I might take you up on it... I'd love to be able to help my wife more, I just don't know what to do for her

I wholeheartedly agree with you. There's definitely a core of great people here. When I joined years back, it was because I had left Blackberry & knew nothing about Android. I came here for the educational, but I stay here because of the great members.
