Are you fostering or is this Frizzles and Star's new home?
New home.

Tiny upset again. But she came in about 11pm and I spent nearly 2 hours with her locked in my bathroom, talking to her and cuddling her and even lying on the floor with her. Gave her a safe space and she began to relax and purr. Even drifted off for about 10 minutes. Eventually I needed to head back to bed, so I put some food in the kitchen for her and Snerd to munch on when they come inside and I will take things slowly with them. Jafaican has eaten, used the litter tray and is asleep on the canopy of my mobility scooter in my room. So she is adjusting ok.
Me? I am desperately tired now. It is 1.40am and need to be up again at 4am to make breakfast for Doug before he goes to work this morning. And to take my medication. So do I stay up or get a couple hours sleep? I need to share my pillow with Star though. Lol

I always ask myself if I think I'd feel better just staying awake and starting my day or if I'd feel better with another hour or so. Sometimes I'm right..... Other times, not so much. I'm a terrible sleeper.

We got Frizzles and Star her Mum today. So Snerd has his whole family. He was a bit growly with them but sniffed and is now asleep. Tiny was a little cross but I cuddled her and she is lying on a bag of clothes behind my sofa. So all is peace here right now. Star is asleep on her own cat bed and Frizzles is sitting next to me on the sofa. She is so sweet. A Calico. Here are some photos.

Love these photos!

They ha e suddenly started to hide in a corner er of my room under the gas meter. They got really spooked during the night. I need to find something to plug the gap and they haven't eaten a thing since they got here. I am getting a little worried about them.

Ok..so not exactly a pet. I've been feeding the outdoor neighborhood cats for the past year, there are about 5 that feed at the bowl.
The other night my backyard security camera caught a very unusual visitor. A FOX!!!
We live in a city neighborhood and this is the first time I've seen a Fox in the hood.

Please keep us posted on how they are doing. Hope you got some sleep!

We adopted a Manx that a friend of my wife couldn't keep. After we got him home (along with his buddy Knight) he hid under the bed for a couple of days. Eventually he came out on his own and made himself right at home with our other cat and his buddy Knight. It just takes some patience. We didn't try to force him, just left him alone so he could adapt on his own time.
Cats are very adaptable but wary of new situations.

Thanks for this. They frightened me today by hiding so well I thought they had got out and run away. Luckily young Lydia came and helped me move furniture and locate them. We patched every hidey hole in the room.

If it wasn't for Amazon Slate and Lil' Bess wouldn't have a place to sleep.

Quality of life would take a dive without those boxes, no doubt.
The box on the left with Slate laying in it is a permanent fixture. The one on the right just arrived and is destined to be evicted with the rest of the trash ( not with Lil'Bess in it she stays).
