It was 5 years ago when we adopted Lil'Bess. She was just a kitten. We got her to keep Slate company because his twin had to cross the Rainbow Bridge just a few months after we adopted both of them. Slate really missed him as we did.
Slate really took to Lil'Bess and she to him.
This really shows the size difference between them then. Now full grown she is still smaller than Slate but she can hold her own when they tussle.
Btw: this photo has been highly Magic Erased to eliminate a lot of kitchen stuff around them.
