In Loving Memory of Ollie Zimbie who passed OTRB just over an hour ago from heart failure.

May he now rest in eternal peace. All our love must go out to my daughter Saphy who was with him as he passed away.

Louise (whom has a sister named Thelma )is a Gold-capped Conure. She is in the same family with Sun Conures & Jenday Conures. She is larger than a love bird.

She is very affectionate... until see she sees a phone or a camera. At that point it's either hide or attack, depending if she has the tactical advantage. If Louise sees the phone screen light up at night, she hisses at it.

It is very amusing, but she is truly serious.

Here's Louise eyeing me suspiciously cause she hates phones. As l have mentioned in other threads, if she can get to my phone before me, she will shove it to the floor & chatter away during a victory strut.

No she doesn't.

At one time I had 3 parrots in my home. My Dad's parrot Peso, my Mom's parrot Louise & my parrot Specs. Louise was the youngest & she learned a lot from the other two. Specs hated phones & cameras, so Louise picked that up from him. Peso hated objects near her that were not hers. She would tackle the objects & shove till they rolled off the counter. Then she would do the victory 'strut & cluck'. Louise picked that up from Peso. Peso also hated the color red, so of course, Louise tears into red things. Parrots are amazing creatures.
