I've probably posted here before.

This is Daisy, my German Shepherd Yellow Lab cross who happened to be born on New Years.

This is Smokey, unfortunately I'm probably putting him down soon as his health is rapidly declining this year, he's 19.

Aww.:'( I had to do that for my previous cat a few years ago. I didn't expect to, but I bawled when it was done.

What terrible news, I feel for you and we are all here for you if you ever need to talk about how you're feeling.

Nice kitty! My Smokey was grey with a few black features as a kitten, which is why my mom named him Smokey, but his colors changed as he grew. He didn't take me moving out after college very well so he became my cat.

I'm not gonna quote everyone but thanks for the support. Cat basically lives in the bathtub right now and goes up onto the counter for food/water. He's nearly deaf and blind, was losing weight because he couldn't find his food before I realized what was happening. I thought he was just hiding from Daisy because as a little pup she wasn't too kind to my cats(got 3 of them). Also put him on a wet food diet, he's gained weight and appears to be doing better but he primarily only leaves the bathroom when he's looking for the litterbox or his food dish is empty, occasionally he finds me for attention and sits on my lap. He doesn't appear to be suffering so I don't feel right about putting him down yet, but I know it's coming soon. Until last year he could still outrun and out jump my 11 year old cat, but that cat is obese. Lol

Pretty much the same with Scout. In the bathroom a lot. He received a cancer diagnosis at least a year ago but still eats well and doesn't appear to be suffering though my wife and I know the day is coming.
