AC on Apple App Store

Hi! I'm an Android user that wants to put a toe into Apple Waters (well keeping Android as well!) and in looking at the Apple App Store I'm not seeing the Android Central app... Is it literally not available on iOS? iOS can't possibly be that restrictive can it?

Get Tapatalk if it exists for iOS, and then log in your AC account.

Yeah, for the forums the best option is Tapatalk but for the blog there's no app available, only the site from a browser. Blame Apple

OMG... I can't believe this. I mean, I hear about how restrictive they are, but to not have a legit app.... maybe I won't get an iPhone after all.

I love this site/app and want to keep in touch with the Android world even as I explore Apple's walked garden.

Remember, Android Central isn't iPhone Central. Why would there be Android apps for iPhones, or iPhone apps for Android?

What? I mean, say you have an iPad and an Android phone and that you like both devices. Wouldn't it make sense to be able to conveniently browse the AC forums/blog on the big iPad screen, and only use your phone gor that when you don't have the iPad with you? This type of crap is one of the many reasons I hate Apple and tell everyone that iOS is locked down junk. The only reason to ever own an iOS device is to play iOS exclusive games like Brain Challenge (I used to play this on my father's iPad).
