AC-rom or Valepak

I am amazed at the features on valepak; but seems a bit over my head. Two days ago i didn't know what a rom was and a some users gave me some guidance. I was on ac rom earlier today; like the features on it and the look more than valepak. I do not like the launcher on valepak at all. i always choose the one on top (can't remember the name of it now).

Hard to decide which rom to keep. I am gonna check out zipee too. Pretty much just checking out the ones ppl on here have on their profile.

Well vaelpak is non-sense and ac Rom is sense so its really all choice.

On vaelpak its launcher pro or adw launcher instead of sense, and the Rom is generally more aosp (stock Android)

Take a peek at zipee but camera, 4g, and hdmi doesn't work on it.
Id recommend myn warm. It's on xda.

Not sure what sense and non sense is really. I do like the slide option on valepak's home screen to unlock. I am dl zipee right now. but i already know i wont use it. I'm deployed and married. Me and my wife use our camera alot. I sent her pics from the museum and **** and she sends me pics of her and the kids. I absolutely love vale but not sure if its enough to keep it. all the options seem for a developer. I have taken coding classes but im no mobile coder. I'll probably switch back to ac rom. not pos yet though.

AC ROM is a nice stable ROM. I used it for a while and think it's really good. I'm on Vaelpak now and I don't see myself going back. It's good and fast and is rock solid.

You can get the lock screen from Vaelpak on AC if you want it (it takes some work, but it's not bad).

Myn's warm twopointtwo is an awesome Sense ROM too. It is heavily themed but is super smooth. I had no issues with that ROM, either.

I used the AC rom for a long time and currently on Vaelpak. I must say I am LOVING Vaelpak.

Myn just didnt work for me. Didnt like the theme at all.

Try them for a few days each and see what works best.

Was a big Vaelpak fan, but Myn is winning me over gradually. I think it's kinda fun switching around.

All of you love it. I'll keep it for a day or so and see if i can get the hang of it. No zipee for me; im dl myn right now. Not sure about kernels i'll stick with roms for now. ac rom kicks *** but i have a feeling vaelpak is more advanced so we'll see what happens.

The closest thing you will get to the Sense clock widget is beautiful widgets. But when you flashed the ROM it created a folder with some of the HTC stuff in it, including the widget you are looking for. I downloaded an app called installer that reads my SD card and finds the APK's on it. Look for the one called htc widget clock widget or something like that. I'm pretty sure you'll also need to install the HTC weather service APK or the weather won't update.

Anyway, VaelPak and AC ROM are very very different ROMs. As stated before AC ROM is Sense VaelPak is NonSense. VaelPak comes with two launchers. ADW (the top one you're talking about) and Launcher Pro. Personally I like Launcher Pro a lot better but to each their own. You'll see more extras with VaelPak. His next few updates are gonna have some more goodies too so key an eye out. I tried AC ROM and while it's not for me, it's realllly good. You can't go wrong either way...

Even though I am not able to give you a definition of sense and non sense when pertaining to android. I think i like the look and feel of sense better. I think non sense is for advanced users.
