The 4.2 update shut down the apex launcher I had set up. In struggling to get it back, I deleted or removed the translucent google search bar and microphone from the home page.
I have been directed to the google search widget. The translucent bar with the microphone, that's what I want.
But, when I press and hold it, to bring it from the app drawer to the Home page, it loses the microphone upon the release of my press. And becomes a nonfunctional bar on my Home page.
Would somebody please help me get google search and voice search back?
