Access to pics on SD card.

I have never had any issues accessing my videos or pictures on my sd card using the USB cable. Today I had a couple of videos that I want to view on my PC and I connected the cable and selected the transfer files to computer option. I see the card and that there is 7gb of space used... But all I can see is my nova launcher backup file???
No folders or anything else.
I have already went into the folder properties to make sure everything was still set to view all files, even hidden ones.
Can anyone help me with what the problem may be. I don't think I have tried to access since I upgraded to Marshmallow. Thanks

Is it in the regular DCIM folder not in the SD card? It could be working some magic to make it appear as internal storage instead of a separate SD card storage.

Thanks but it is still savings pics to the sd card. I can see it on the phone. I unmounted and remounted the card still cannot see the files.
