Just bought a Fascinate and still trying to understand about its file managemet. I am working with windows vista. I can mount and access the SD card but dont understand how to access the internal memory. I was trying to root the phone I was following the instructions and it said to put the update file on the internal memory. How do you do this.

thanks

Hi kadiver, a good first place to start would be to get the android SDK and read about ADB - check out the development forums here and over at XDA developers.

As well, you can get a program like Astro that will let you browse around your device's internal storage, without rooting your phone there won't be too much you can manipulate but you can get a sense of what is going.

There's also memory space allocated for the phone's recovery and bootloader but you'll pick that up later.
