Accessing files on Samsung Note 9 with broken screen.

Basically the screen is cracked and i only have a partial view of the top 50%, but it's slowly getting worse.

The fingerprint scanner works so I can access the phone, but critically when i connect to a PC, the 'allow PC to access phone' button only appears on the bottom section of the screen which I can't access.

This is massively infuriating as it would literally solve all my problems if I could allow the phone to accept the PC's access request.

The phone is stock, and I never signed up to any Samsung accounts on my phone such as Kies. So all settings on the phone can be assumed to be standard.

Is there anyway I can get the phone to accept the PC's connection request, or any other potential means for extracting all the data from the phone?

I also have a secure folder set up on the phone. If i can somehow access the files on a PC, can I still access the secure folder with the password?

Thanks

Welcome to Android Central! Try connecting a basic USB mouse via OTG adapter and see if that lets you click on the Allow Access button (or where you guess the button is on the inaccessible part of the screen).

Try turning it landscape mode and if the screen rotates, then turn it both ways to see if you can see the button to push.

It's amazing how many people run into this issue , never sign into my Samsung account or back up my stuff through smart switch , all this can be avoided if it's back up .
