Accessorizing Your Vivid - What Do You Intend To Get For It?TT

Re: Accessorizing Your Vivid - What Do You Intend To Get For It?T

knighthawk321,

Seidio now has the Seidio Convert Case and Holster available on their website for order and with Free Standard Shipping. Ordered mine tonight.

I had one for my Inspire and it was probably the best case for a smartphone I have found to date. Feels just about as protective as an Otterbox bit doesn't feel so bulky and the spring loaded clip keeps the phone from falling out of the holster.

I just went there, and all they show is the Active in "Coming Soon" mode. Nothing on the Convert. I got to check out a friend's iCrap dressed up in a Convert. Definitely a good case, and what I want my Vivid to live in.

i think the defender will be too thick for my taste then. i am using the acg case from the att store and i will get the sedio surface case with the holster.

The Surface is now available in the full spectrum of colors. I just checked the site, coz I want that Convert. In my line of work, anything less is way too risky. I have a friend at work (not the one referenced above), who does not use a good case, and has busted his iCrap 7 times. The other friend can't understand why this guy hasn't put a decent case on his phone, and neither can I. ICrap or not, the damn things are too expensive to risk.

I just got the saFPWR Fusion 2 case for my Vivid today from the local AT&T store. It was a little pricey and I could have gotten it on ebay for cheaper but I needed it more sooner than later.

So far, I'm loving it :)

I never knew this case existed until I saw your post.....THANKS!
I didn't get a manual for my safpwr, what is the button for next to the led lights?

I saw this posted as a comment:

"This review is from: SafPwr Fusion Charging Case for HTC Vivid LTE/Raider 4G Black [Retail Packaging] (Wireless Phone Accessory)

I bought two units and they both work pretty well. At first, it looked like they wern't working properly because the charge wasn't lasting any longer than normal. The trick is that after removing the unit from the charger you have to press and hold the button to the left of the four LED lights until the charge indicator on the top left on the front of the phone goes out. Once the power gets down to around 14% press the button on the back of the case until the charging indicator on the front of the phone comes back on. It will charge the phone back to around 68 to 70%. After that recharge the unit. "

Decided to go with "Ballistic" cases this time around versus my previous "Otterbox" cases. I had both the Defender & Commuter type cases from Otterbox & they were good in the beginning, then the molded layer started to come out of place, plus they were a little too bulky!

Ballistic created the Ballistic SG Case for HTC Vivid, with not one...not two, but THREE layers of protection. The first and outermost layer is made of soft TPU which will help absorb the shock of a drop. In addition, this first layer, is co-molded onto layer number 2, which is made of a tough impact resistant polycarbonate. Last but not least, layer number three, which is the inner-most layer, made of a soft silicone. This layer also includes Ballistic Corners? which means all four corners have extra shock absorption where you need it the most! 3 layers of Advanced Drop Protection:
*Outermost TPU layer provides drop and shock protection
*Middle polycarbonate layer co-molded with with outermost layer provides impact protection
*Inner soft silicone layer gives you added shock absorption protection
*Designed to survive life!
*Reinforced Ballistic Corners?
*Access to all controls and ports

Been real happy after the switch!:D

Looks like it adds protection, but also looks like it'd feel like a brick in your pocket. ;)

Lol!!! I think the Otterbox "Defender" series truly felt like a brick on my waist compared to the Ballistic case, but yes definitely more protection, especially around the corners where most phones impact the ground when falling...
