Accidentally deleted system contacts app

I accidentally deleted the system contacts app that allows me to see all my contacts, and stuff. My phone is a Galaxy Ace S5830L running Android 2.3.6. It's rooted, but no backup. I know, my bad. Is there a way to reinstall the contacts app without doing a factory reset? I've been reading for a while, and some say it doesn't work half of the times. Thanks for helping!
