Accounts & Sync resetting saved settings?

Ok so I'm on my fifth device and I do have Privacy settings set to Back up my Settings and Automatically restore for application part of it. So here is my issue on current TB I have been as soon as I noticed this, but sadly I can not for life of me see how often or when it is happening.

So every single item I have setup on a sync which is Gmail, Facebook for HTC Sense, 2 Mail Accts, Twitter for HTC Sense and Weather hold settings for "Update Schedule" and other options like "Update when opened" but here is the issue.

From what I can tell it seems to be roughly everytime my phone lock kicks in but like I said I can not honestly tell in last 12 hours when exactly it is resetting. It is NOT holding settings for "Sync Peep", "Sync friend", "Sync live feed", "Sync contacts", "Sync mail" I'm changing them an within a short period of time (1 hour) I go back and both are checked again.

Just did factory reset this morning because I had no data service and other tricks were not working. So this is fresh update since roughly 10am Monday. No clue why it is doing this but hoping maybe someone else had similar issue and got it fixed because obviously factory reset won't do me much good since I just did that.

So after store calling HTC today while I was there. They said this is known issue and will require a software update.

For anyone who doesn't understand they did track down this is happened when you restart or shutdown your device. So far only to be issue with HTC sense plugins so HTC Sense Twitter / Facebook. When you adjust settings those are not saved and reset to default upon rebooting your device. So do not pull your hair out wondering why they do not save it is software issue.

Thanks for this! I'm stock rooted but removed bloatware like friendstream. The first time I removed it I had a bug with a constant sync attempt. By re-adding friendstream the "sync live feed" option reappears for HTC facebook which can then be disabled to fix the constant sync issue.

I've since removed friendstream again, my "sync live feed" option is still there this time, but it re-checks itself anytime I reboot the phone and the constant sync begins again. Now I can at least uncheck it, and you answered my question!
