Mine did that too. Right before you add the widget it shows what city you want, you have put a check mark way on the right side of the city.

If it's doing that even after you've added cities, just turn the device to portrait. It resets it.

Mine goes back and forth between the city and null....

seems like a bug that they will have to get worked out....hopefully soon.
