Acer Ring for a500? Any Possibility?

I recently checked out Acer's Iconia tab a200 at Best Buy and it appeared to be loaded with a custom skin by Acer that is apparently referred to as Acer Ring. I actually dig it. It reminds me a bit of Samsung's touchwiz skin on the Galaxy Tab 10.1. It's subtle but it adds some cool functionality like quick access to apps right from the lock screen and a quick apps menu at the bottom of the screen in the middle of the status bar (much like Samsung's honeycomb touchwiz had).

Any chance of this coming to the a500 in a software update? Or is it pretty much impossible to know at this point?

To be honest, it didn't seem to bog down the processor at all. In fact, I have to say that it actually felt a lot smoother and snappier than any a500 I've ever used. Not to mention it added some really neat and useful functionality.

Seems to me that vanilla doesn't always equal better as many on these forums are quick to suggest. Personally, I don't see why people get so hung up about skins. If it adds some sweet functionality and doesn't bog down the processer at all then what the heck are you complaining about?
