Just ordered one via chat. I am also on Sero-P. The representative told me he has been told they are on "backorder" until November 8th, when the phone is released on Sprint. Has anyone else been told this?
I selected overnight shipping, and he said it would be a 2-5 day processing time.
saying that it was on backorder because they did not have the Nexus 5 phone yet.
Hmm I ordered mine through chat no issues...got an order number that functions via there website. Says it should arrive in 3 to 5 days...

Ask for BrandonMy local Sprint store in Lewisville Texas had plenty of SIM cards handy.... they gave me one at no charge.. but they couldn't activate the phone because the serial number for this device is blocked... I've been on hold 45 minutes trying to get someone to register the IMEI number so the phone can be activated.... Store manager said they probably have it blocked until November 8 the official release date on Sprint...

I just tried the non-international chat... they said NOPE, we can't help you... should have read the thread about International chat... I will try them now.

Activation does require a UICC card (some call it a SIM card) obtained from a Sprint retail store at no charge. If the Sprint store has not received their shipment of UICC cards, our Sprint World Wide team can order one for you through our Chat option or calling into Care.
Steps to activate online:
Insert your UICC card and follow the prompts online to swap to your Google Nexus 5.
Manage My Sprint> Activate a new phone> Enter new device> In the Device code enter the IMEI and leave off the last IMEI digit. If all the digits are entered an error will be generated.
Please send me a Private Message with your IMEI and phone number if an error message is generated after following the above steps.
