Active 2 Watch - Using LTE, but not able to text

Hello All,

I have a Galaxy Active 2 watch, but every time I try to TEXT (calling works fine) while in 'Standalone - Sprint' mode, it says, 'Can't connect to phone remotely. Connect using bluetooth.' Why why why, if I'm using LTE and my phone is miles away AND 'mobile data' is on, should the watch be looking to connect to the phone??? Please help me figure this out! Thank you!
