Active Display issues

Does anyone else have issues with some apps not opening when selected from Active display after upgrading to KitKat? Gmail, messaging, etc, all work fine, but the stock Email app does not open up after selecting it from the active display notification...

We have upgraded to 4.4. Is there a 4.4.2 coming that might fix some of the little issues? I'm on 4.4 with Nova prime and really like it.

For all we know they might put active display in the play store and update it that way the way Motorola had done with other apps like the camera.
