i know that when you get an alert, it displays on the active display screen.

if the phone is on a table, should it keep lighting up until you pick it up and if so what are intervals that it lights up?

thanks

Haven't observed this one. As i keep on receiving an sms alert with 30 mins interval. Round the clock, but maybe you could experiment by intentionally observing it.

My wild guess would be 15mins after an event took place (i.e. new message, phone calls), before notifications runs out.

I've always thought it'll light up until you check it. But as the above poster said I was also one to check rather quickly. I so know the notifications turn on for 2 seconds and then turn off for 6 seconds.

Well today I had a notification come in and let it sit on the table. At first the active notification came on for a couple of seconds and was off for about 7 seconds, after about 15 or 20 minutes I walked over and looked at it again and it was on for a couple of seconds and off for about 15 seconds and the same at about 35 mins. But then another notification came in and it went back to the on for a couple off for about 7 cycle.
