Active display & stock email client

Ever since the update to Kit Kat I've been having problems with active display not playing nice with the stock email client, which is what I use for my work/exchange email. I do get the active display notification telling me that I have a new message, but then when I drag up to go directly to the new message I'm taken to wherever I was when I last used the phone (either the home screen or the most recently used app). Are there settings somewhere that could fix this, or is it a bug that I should bring to Motorola's attention?

It's a known issue. I believe that Motorola knows about it. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to tell them again.
