Active Notifications and Sound

Just received my Verizon Moto X Saturday. Everything worked great for the first few days.
Issue that just started is my Active Notification along with the Sound Notification with my email (using K-9) stopped working.
have been using K-9 for my other devices prior to this one, all settings are correct. Again worked perfectly for the first few days.
Cleared the cache and rebooted. No changes
Any thoughts or advice.
Also my led does not work when charging or when battery is low.

Just a heads up there isn't a notification led on the Moto X due to active display and notifications. Not sure on the sound issue.

Understood. Thought the LED only worked as a indicator for when the battery was low and or charging

Nope. No led at all on it.
