Activesync on Froyo

It looks like HTC got activesync right with Froyo. I was having all sorts of issues with the 2.1 HTC mail. I had to load stock 2.1 mail and use touchdown to be able to meet my needs. I Just tried it with 2.2 and it is working great! (only syncs inbox properly all other folders are iffy) Not as good as touchdown but at least now it works....

I thought froyo would now support exchange by default? I was hoping after the update I could consolidate my accounts into a stock android email app.

It was supported in 2.1 just not very well.....

so what does the nexus one use for an email app? I was under the impression that the "Mail" app on the Evo was an HTC thing, not a google thing.

Either way I thought our "Mail" app was specific to the Evo

Still doesn't handle forwarded emails with attachments correctly. And still won't open .eml attachment which blows.
