Adaptive brightness seems to be taking place but it's DISABLED. HELP!

Hey, All...

I have adaptive brightness turned off on my phone, but everything still adjusts on its own - it's very annoying. It's been doing it for weeks now.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm just curious as well, do most people adaptive brightness here?i do I love it. It works wonders.

I have adaptive brightness toggled off on both my phones.I just dont like it auto changing the brightness for me.I just need to change my brightness from inside to outside whichever applies.

Mine doesn't change the brightness on its on but mines just ticked off.

Yes, totally disabled.... When the room is dim, The screen goes crazy sometimes!

Does the same thing happen in Safe Mode?
Just want to eliminate 3rd party apps from the equation.

Did this ever work correctly? If so, what happened around the time the problem started?
