what are you trying to do?

to restart adb server (in windows) go to the task manager (in windows) and end the adb.exe task, then running adb at the cmd prompt should start the server again.

i keep getting error 06 rooting failed due to proper submission of sytem files or something like that ive tried in pc and media sync

i have ninja but doesnt work nor does barnacle or busy box but i had all of those b4 trying to root 2.2 i did the doroot method and it said congrats but what did i mess up

i haven't tried to root 2.2 yet (i've just used the 2.1 and move to xbin method so far)

i hear the 2.2 method can take a few tries. maybe try it again and see.

the easiest way to check is to run an app that needs root and see if the ninja's permission window pops up.

that or in adb shell run a "su" command and see if the prompt changes (make sure you allow it on the phone, it'll ask after you use su.)
