So apparently Hex is broken after the latest update, or at least I can't get it to work. I understand that a workaround is using ADB to enable Hex. I watched a video on how to get it going using Shizuku and it still does not work. I just don't know what I am doing wrong. 😡😡 Anyone had success with this process? I've emailed hex support and posted in reddit but so far no help. 😥

Ok once you run Shizuku you need to open Hex App follow theses steps the photos with the arrow on them click on those sections.

Not sure I am following what is in your screenshots? (Seems to be duplicative) This is what I did:
- enabled USB & Wireless Debug in Dev options
-went to ADB in Hex and selected Shizuku and downloaded
-in Dev Options, enabled Split Screen and selected Shizuku
-pressed Wireless Debug and chose pair with code
-input code into Shizuku, ok and then went back and pressed Start and it completed.
-the video then said to go back to ADB page in hex and there should be check marks instead of X's and to close and reopen if you don't see it right away. Closed and reopened and still X's.
Did I do it right? Did I miss something?

All that is correct, now the 3 photos is from the main Hex app , do this open the app Hex then see the bug Android icon top right click that then open Shizuku again from within the Hex app.
