Add 4th Navigation button?

Still using an HTC one M8 and love the configurable navigation keys.
Does the Pixel give you the option too add a 4th navigation key/move them around/etc.

I grown so accustomed to having a notification drop-down key on my navigation row, I really would hate to lose it....

sadly you do not.

however I'm sure there's an app that gives you this customizability. I don't know it, but I'm sure it exists lol

App called custom nav bar will do this on Pixel. It adds buttons to the far left and right totaling five. I have them set for curser keys left and right but there's a notifications in there.

Or can use the built in swipe down on fingerprint to do it. I also have a swipe down gesture set in Nova to do it. No shortage of ways to do that without reaching the top of the screen really.

Apparently it won't be needed under O according to the description. That's interesting.

I do use Nova Prime as well, so could easily just use a swipe gesture.
