Add a Facebook icon to Note 3 apps page

I just upgraded to a Note 3 and want to put a Facebook icon on my home page screen. There is no pre-loaded button for FB on this phone, all it let ,e do was sync to my FB account. How do I put a blue FB button link on my Home Page, please?

Open your app drawer, long press the fb icon and drag it to your homescreen..

I thought taht was something I could do, too, but there is no Facebook icon anywhere on this phone that I can find to drag and drop, that's why I want to know how to add the icon to the phone so I can drag and drop it. I have Amazon,Tumbler, Google, Clock, Calendar and a bunch more, but no Facebook icon. I thought I could download a Facebook link from somewhere that would put the icon on my Home Page for me, but all the phone let me do was link to FB and now I have to go searching thru my Favorites to find the link (which is not a FB icon I can push to connect) and then open it to get to my FB page... very irritating. I thought EVERY mobile device ever made had a FB icon that came included with them...

Are you sure you have Facebook downloaded from the app store?

OK, problem solved! I called the Verizon store and they said I had to go to the Google Play Store and download the FB app. Once it downloaded, it put the icon on my Home page for me! Thanks for the quick reply, we are back in business again. Love this new Note 3!

No, thanks, that was the problem. I downloaded it from the app store and it fixed itself for me, lol!
I'm still new to this technology. At 67 years old I'm proud of myself for being able to figure out how to turn this phone on, haha!
