When I installed ICS there was several icons located between the lower bar and the home page. I wouldn't be needing them so I deleted them thinking that I would be able to add ones that I would use later. Well I haven't figured out how to install new ones yet? When I try to put an icon under the page it just disappears. I'd appreciate it if anyone knows how to install Apps in this area.

I think that's what OP means is the "Mini Apps". I only know that you can remove them from the placed holders and add them back, but you can only use the Samsung built in Mini Apps. Whether or not you can download more/different "Mini Apps" I'm not sure.

No not the "mini app" tray these were above that and yet below the page. They were there with the fresh upgrade to ICS? I shouldn't have been so impatient.

Can you post a screenshot to show us what you mean?

A few questions... Do you or have been using a 3rd market launcher, maybe one with an app bar like ADW? Maybe you turned it off...

Do you remember if the icons stayed at the bottom of the page when you swipe from page to page...

It could have also just been what ever apps Samsung decided were important and what ever stock wallpaper that is making you think these apps where there.
