Did the OTA day one. Subscribed to MHS through the app the following day. I would have taken a screenshot if I knew it wasn't common. Lol

I haven't been following this very closely, but I think there's been a lot of people who are still gettin' it for free. I wouldn't expect it to last for too much longer, 'though.

When I called VZW, the rep had no idea there was a $30 hotspot option. After I told her I had read about it she said "Oh, hey, you're right. Where did you hear about this?" Glad I read this thread.

Is a phone built in option, it doesn't matter if is 3G or 4G. You will find this on settings wireless And networks

The $30 feature is only for 4G phones from what I have read. 3G phones on an unlimited data plan still have the same old $20 feature that gives 2GB of tethering usage.

For the $30 unlimited feature, and code see the tweet from Verizon posted earlier in this thread. It uses the term 'feature' but does not go into detail. regarding prorating, but that is Verizon?s standard practice with features.

One thing Rob... she kept saying "remove the feature in the middle of the billing cycle". Literally, that would be 15 days and $15 at $1.00/day. Perhaps she asked a supervisor, how much if it is removed "in the middle of the cycle" and he said "$15.00"

Someone is gonna have to be a test pilot on this. Personally, I don't want to remove mine. But surely someone will do a test and report back with how much they are billed

You have to call in to get the $30 unlimited hotspot I don't think they will ever put it on the online since they would love for you to accidentally add tiered pricing and give up your unlimited.
