Addin Facebook to the calendar

For some reason i dont seem to be able to add my facebook calendar I have just upgraded form the S4 to the S8 but when i go into the calendar app and click add i dont get the option to add facebook, and i dont seem to able to figure out how to add it, I go to a lot of music gigs which all get arranged threw facebook so i need them to show up in my calendar so i can see if i busy or not.

any ideas how to added it in?

Those are accounts you're looking at, not calendars, you can't add FB as an account. You need to check the Play store, not sure if there is an FB calendar app, you may need to install FB itself. I believe there are threads here in the S8 forum for syncing FB calendar to one of the S8's calendar apps.

On the S4 I just went to that page and facebook was listed i have the facebook app installed, in the end i gave up and downloaded the google calendar app, and synced that to facebook, now they show up.

That was removed a couple of years ago, np way of doing that anymore. Samsung was one of the few, if not the only one that managed to allow for that, that way, the rest was done via the app.

Facebook app has suffered some changes related to that and at one point you could do that but then it was also removed from within the app.

Just Google for showing or Importing Facebook events and birthdays to your Google calendar, that way it will show as an additional calendar linked to your Google calendar. That's how I have it for years now.
