Adding App Shortcut Slow

Does anyone else have this problem or can someone explain if this is a bug or not; When I select the wallpaper to created a shortcut and then select "applications" it takes foreeeeeeeeever for the Applications to list... hmmmmm....... could this be because it is searching the devices internal 13GB and my 8GB external SD card?? I would think it would have a general area to know where to look for apps? It can take a full minute to almost 2 minutes for it to load............ Any thoughts??? thanks!

Mine is slow too. I think it all depends on how many apps you have on your phone.

I agree, when I first got the phone and just had a few apps it was fast. Now that I have way to many it is slow.

Yea.... I noticed that as well... It happens when the 512 ram gets close to being filled up... If you have an app that frees up ram use it and you'll get the speed back. I don't use the "touch and hold the main screen method" for app shortcuts..... Instead, just press the applications button, navigate to the app you want a shortcut to, and then "press and hold on that apps icon" and it will immediately be moved to the home screen.
