Adding new lines from an existing acct

Hoping someone can help me. I have 3 UDP lines...none of them are under contract. Is it possible to add additional lines from another existing acct to my acct? I believe both phones on the other acct are under contract however at least for a little while longer. I understand that the other 2 phones being added would have to be a tiered data plan, but would it be possible to add them to my old Family Nationwide 1400 talk & text plan for $9.99 a line? And they would need to keep their existing phone numbers...so I guess it would be an assumption of liability process.

If their upgrades were used to get smartphones after 8/25/2014 they will have a 2 year data requirement.

You should be able to assume the liability.

If I assume liability, can I add them to my txt & minutes plan and then just add them to a tiered data plan?
