Address Book question

Hi all,

I just got my Droid Incredible and love it so far. I noticed however that when I begin to type in an address for a text message, facebook contacts come up. Is there anyway to remove these contacts from coming up? I don't really talk to half the people who list their numbers through Facebook. Thanks.

Yeah, try going into settings look for search, click it and then searchable items see if that's in the list of searchable items and uncheck it and anything else you don't want.

Hey I just checked those settings and they only help with the general search (like from the search button). I'm trying to remove the facebook phone numbers (that I never put in my address book) from the messages part where you start typing a name to make a new text and a list of names come up. I don't want people's numbers from facebook in there. Thanks!

Open the "People" app, press "Menu", go to "View", make sure that Facebook is not checked off.
I really don't like the Contacts app, honestly.

I think I figured it out. I believe it was something to do with Facebook for HTC Sense. I deleted my account from there and it removed those annoying facebook numbers, but it also removed the contacts it linked. Oh well, for now I don't need their pictures in my phone book. Thanks for the help everyone. If anyone figures out if it's possible to link individual facebook accounts then let me know!
