Addressing recording sound from the phone

Can we re-open this topic - it seems ridiculous that there is still no app to record internal sound (according to posts of last year). Why doesn't someone make an app and make it available paid or otherwise? People responded previously - use a cable to a computer (not always practical or possible), or record using the mic, of course including all the other unwanted ambient sounds. There must be a demand for this, for example, listening to - say - a radio broadcast (on line or FM radio), and just wanting to record it to listen later.
Before someone says get a phone with an FM radio and record option - I have one, but as the FM signal is often so bad or intermittent, I normally need to go to the on-line radio station (where there is no option to record). And podcasts are not the answer either - only a small selection of broadcasts are sometimes made available for a limited time. Any answers please.
UPDATE March 2nd:
Thanks for the reply N4. Understand all that. I had a look at TUNE-IN but couldn't find a record option anywhere, not sure if I missed it, but in any case £90 plus a year to listen to what are essentially free radio stations seems a bit over the top.
It looks like there is no other option, so will have to live without it. Interestingly, you can record any sound coming out of your PC through speakers - from the web or other installed software (not talking about just from the mic), and very good quality, using Audacity and setting Record to Windows WASAPI and Speakers option to Loopback. I still find it strange that this can't be made available for a tablet or phone on Android, it's not like we are doing something illegal! Maybe, as you say, it is just too difficult.
Thanks again

I'm not exactly sure what your question is, but often times things we would like cannot be done due to the protections built into Android to not permit one app access to other apps' data.

To record live (streaming) radio, TuneIn Radio ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tunein.player ) can do that - at least the Pro version cam; I don't know about the free version. You can record while listening or in the background.
