Adjusting LED blink rate

I have tried every LED app on Play Store - yes, including Light Flow - none of them work correctly (hopefully one of them will be optimized for 6.0 soon!)

In the meantime - I can live with the stock white LED color for all messages - but does anyone know if there is a way to increase the blink rate?

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

I don't know how to adjust the blink rate; however, I can adjust the LED color from the notifications settings on some of my apps.

Lightflow seems to be working fine for me, both led colours and adjusting blink rate. What isn't working for you about it?

The LED colors were not as set - set to blue, LED blinks green, etc.

I did not try the paid version ( wanted to try it out before purchasing) - maybe the paid version works better?

Or maybe I can figure out how to at least get it to blink one consistent color - as I said, I can live with that if I can increase the blink rate. Maybe I will give it another shot.

Thanks for responding!!

I am using free...found all colours (well the 4 I tested) working for me.

I did notice when running its "test pattern" the led briefly blinks green before moving onto the other colours. I wonder if you did not wait long enough?

Other possibility is your led is defective...since it's an rgb led, I suppose one or more of the 3 colours could be burned out.

Hey mr_nobody - thanks - I re-installed Light Control free; then did a re-boot before setting it up - and now it does seem to be working okay (will test it out "real time" today) - but I cannot find where to adjust the blink rate? Can you tell me where you do that?

Thanks tonnages!!!!!

In the same screen where you set the colours for the different notifications, underneath the colour it tells you the blink rate. If you tap on that text, you get a menu to change the blink rate. Yeah, a lot of this app needs some usability work but it seems pretty powerful.

Underneath the blink colour it should have the blink speed written (default usually fast) hit the word and a pop up menu shows with all the rates. It may be a premium only feature though.

I just checked and Light Flow still causes my ambient display to switch on and off continuously.

Thanks again - tried it and it works - yes, this is very powerful - nice to have this "BlackBerry type of functionality" available!!!

Thanks for the reply, Martin - blink rate is available in the free version - and I will test later for the ambient display anamoly (right now, my device is charging and I have it set to keep the display lit when plugged in)

Honestly, I found the whole ambient implementation on this phone to be wonky even before I installed lightflow so I decided to just disable it...leds are fine for me.
