Adjusting Screens on Sense

Is there a way to remove screens form HTC Sense? I like the 3 that are on stock android.

install a new launcher like ADW or LauncherPro and set the number of screens to 3

but you won't be able to use any of the Sense widgets if you do

(I run LauncherPro and Beautiful Widgets and the only sense widget I miss is the photo gallery one)

I switched to LauncherPro last week because I was tired of having empty homescreens and I haven't looked back since. Got Beautiful Widgets to replace the Sense clock widget and all is well.

Other than moving/removing widgets and shortcuts & changing the home screen, that's about it for Sense. But that makes it pretty customizable, doesn't it?

Anyway, FWIW, I've heard a lot of good things about LauncherPro.

i just put more than one photo album widget and no more blank screens lol i like having one blank tho with some of the live wallpapers...i like sense but i have that i cant organize/delete/hide icons i dont use, i want them in my order lol hate having to scroll thru and it could be androids os that is blocking me but its a gripe either way lol

I dont know if this is 100% what you were talking about but I found if I press and hold on one of the screens it will bring up a remove at the bottom of the screen and you can just drag and drop it their and it will remove that screen. Worked for me on some of the preinstalled screens.

You can not 'remove' or 'delete' the entire screen. Just put the blank ones on the outside use the inside three screens. I didn't think I needed all the screens either but they are all filled up now. Give it time!
