Adjusting/Stopping Noise Cancelling Feature

Hello -

I searched the forums and I've searched on Google but I have not found an answer to my question -

I love my HTC Droid Incredible 2, however, there is one issue that I'm not sure if it's a complete deal breaker. The noise cancelling feature makes me practically garbled when I'm on the phone in my car (with the windows slightly down or completely closed - the car is just noisy). Is there a way to reduce the noise cancelling or turn it off altogether?
