Ads being attached to text messages h

Help.....I use a Nexus 6 phone and it's stock message app.......and suddenly ads are being attached to some of my text messages. What can I do??

These are in-line ads being attached to outgoing messages....weirdest thing. Has happened twice only, but bothering me!

Who can see the ads -- you, the recipient, or both? Did you type anything in the body of your text that might be vaguely related to the ad?

I'd send some feedback to Google about this. Open your Android Messages app, tap Menu>Help & Feedback, and tell Google about this, ideally with a screenshot that includes the ads.

I have this same issue it seems to have started after the update I just did last week
I really want this gone Lol I have a screenshot but I dont see where to attach it sorry I have Note 5

I had the same problem (on a Samsung Galaxy S7) and after downloading and running 4 different anti-virus apps from the Playstore and not finding anything, I realized that it must be a new "feature" of the Samsung Messenger app. It turns out it was. In your Messenger go to the "Settings" then to "More settings". At the bottom there is an option "Show web previews". Turn it off. That eliminated the "Ads". Apparently this "feature" will take a website or a word that it thinks is a website and generate a preview and link to it.
