Ads on Google Chrome?

I've noticed every page I visit there seems to be a ad at the bottom of the page. I attached a photo. Can I get rid of these ads?

Pretty sure the ad is being presented by the mobile version of the site you're on, not Chrome. Fansided has similar ads in their iOS app. Most importantly, Chrome doesn't have extraneous ads (other than the ones the site provides)

EDIT: Part of the reason you're probably seeing this type of ad in a lot of places around the web is because more websites are taking advantage of this style to hit mobile browsers.
