Ads on phones, big deal?

I dont want ads on my phone.
I really don't use aps that have ads in them, if they do they are very unobtrusive.

Google puts borderline pornographic ads in Gmail...... completely ridiculous. I've never seen anything like it before in any other email client.

I only use the Gmail for phone setup...... I use other email services for my actual email. Google can kiss my azz ;-)

I've never seen what you're talking about .. not even once on any browser I've used Gmail on. Maybe you have something in your browser ?

Err. What?

When I access my Gmail through the Google Gmail icon on my phone home screen, at the top of my mail categories like promotions, forums, social etc there are ads. I slightly exaggerated though.....I get dating website ads among others that are very suggestive, but not pornographic. It's not a virus or malware....it was there from day one, and I don't surf on my phone and have only installed one app..... Fitbit.

It's built into the Google mail app on the phone. They don't show up in my primary category, just the sub categories.

I get ads in my Outlook accounts as well, but they're based more on Microsoft products etc, not like the
Gmail ads I find offensive.

Could you post a screenshot? I seriously don't understand what you mean. I don't see these ads ever.
