Bummed that I got an email from ADT security that said this:


Thank you for your inquiry to ADT.com. Currently we only have an App for the iPhone. We apologize for any inconvenience, we do not know yet when App will be available for other cellular phones. The ADT Pulse website can be accessed via the web browser on your phone if you have a Droid or Blackberry.

A friend has a different company and through alarm.com he can set his alarms, thermostat, etc. from anywhere he has service on verizon. It logs onto his alarm/ hvac system which has an ip address.

My father has one for his shore house, but you actually call the "house" phone number and it changes the temp. Can't have an answering machine though for it to work.
Was hoping for something like that for our house.

^^ I guess most developers only think that IPhone users are the only ones who need security. Lol
