advance messaging how do you turn it off

just updated april security update today and this morning i get a text message however when i open it wanting me to procede to start using advanced messaging



yes i understand that april security update saying What's changing:

The current software update enables Brand Chat on Advanced Messaging, which allows you to text your favorite companies' chatbots from your messaging app. Conversations are saved in your messages so you can read them any time.



now i have never used advanced messaging before i have many question like if i do this will i lose past text messages notification ringtone<- i got an old mp3 song on it right now



also i got a theme wallpaper on it does that mean if i enable it won't be like that be white<-basically in a nutshell i don't know if i want to do this or not kindof like old design text message



do i need to talk to verizon to make this go away or what

please respond asap

well after verizon sent me a text message to go into account and when i went back to text message it went back to normal i don't see that scene wanting me to click next on advance messages it went away am not sure it will come back or not

i guess i will have to call advance messengers phone number if it comes back but as of now text message is back is good again

Presumably you might be using Samsung default messages app? If so, "chat" settings are there in settings, to turn it on or off, to use plain ole SMS or RCS.

If you are using the Google Messages App, then it's there also under settings, "chat features".

Presumably, that is what it is referring to for advance chat/messaging. However, I have no idea about that "chat bot" thing you mentioned. Sounds carrier specific.

it appear in the old samsung text message on phone there was no way to make it go away after my brother text message me i open the dang text the dumb message came up wanting me to click on next<-right after i upgraded to april security update btw

however after verizon text me to go into account and i approve as soon text message came up the thing went away and back to old text message with the blue theme on it when i exit and open up text message

i have no clue how it happen i don't think person was able to removed it but for some odd reason it's not in plan anymore again i don't know might show up again down road or will never see it again

i never used google messages app btw
