The one problem I have with my Z3v is the lack of simultaneously using voice and data. I understand that all of the new phones from Verizon are not equipped with the dual antenna that all of the previous 4g phones had in order to be able to add advanced calling 1.0, but it's been a month since the Droid turbo got the update and the truth is the z3v is as much of a carrier exclusive as the turbo and should be getting the same preferred treatment with the update.
It bothers me because my LG G3, G2, GSM, and razr maxx all had simultaneous voice and data and situations where you need it come up quite often.

So does anyone have any information on when this feature will be available?

A software update has nothing to do with antennas. They can't add an antenna to the phone with an update, they have to be manufactured into the phone. If the phone requires an additional antenna to do advanced calling, the "feature" will be "available" when the next model - the one with two antennas - comes out, not in your phone. If it's a software change that's needed, it'll be available when Sony adds it to the ROM. Verizon doesn't add things like that.

Your statement about antennas is correct but has nothing to do with the OP's concern.

Advanced calling is a Verizon driven update for the ability to use Verizon's VoLTE system to allow date+phone. The Z3V is designed for Verizon's VoLTE system. Verizon is controlling the roll out. It is being done by phone model. When Verizon turns the feature on for a specific device, the customer has to activate it on the phone and their my Verizon account page. There excellent comments in the Moto X (2014) and Turbo Forums on the topic.

In response to the OP, I think number of Z3v device in use may be part of the reason you have not seen it yet. I don't know, just a SWAG.
