Are there any advantages of installing or moving apps to the SD?

Do they all live in the same place on the SD?

Thanks!

you can save memory on the phone. The apps on the sd card live on the sd card while all the other apps live on the phone it self. I usaly only put big apps on the sd card to save space everthing else stays on the phone

a problem you may run into is widgets.
I see many apps mention if moved to SD card then widget won't work.

I was wondering the same. Are there any pros in cons in performance for running programs off the SD card?

This is perhaps more of a question than an answer but are there any security implications to this? SD is non-volatile and phone is volatile.

Thanks!

So if there is no real benefit, I'll just let them live internally.

That's what I would do. For older phones with less memory, moving apps to the SD card was a necessity. Assuming all you're using the internal memory for it apps on the Thunderbolt (as most people do), you *should* have plenty of space. It's nice to have the option, but I prefer to just keep all apps stored internally. Everything seems to work better that way anyway.
