Advantages of 7422 AIO solution?

I'm curious as to what advantages an AIO solution like the 7422 would potentially bring to the Note 5. Does less distance between components improve performance and power consumption? How would it be more beneficial over the 7420? I'm not too familiar with the workings of chips like this, I'd really like to learn more!

Well, besides having the technical information (official one) on how the chipset has been built we can't speak much.

But we know for sure it's going to be made in 14nm to start with. Also with what we saw from the Exynos chip in the S6 it shown to us that 14nm does help with further battery life.

But regarding your question, it would in fact be beneficial for using the components more distant from each other especially in terms of heating.

Many phones due to being compacted and using certains SoC that easily overheat (think of SD 810) can create performance issues due to the "major" components being overheated.
