Advertisements being saved into photos??? (HTC One M8)

Hey all,

I have a minor but really really annoying problem. Nearly every single image of an advertisement that loads up on my phone (usually from playing free games) ends up saved in my photos and gallery. This is very annoying when I want to find a photo that I snapped a few days ago or for general gallery browsing.

Is there any way to change a setting so this doesn't happen? This is my first android phone so I apologise if this is a dumb question, or if it has been asked before! Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Not dumb. The ads are cached so its not eating up your data so they may show up in you photos adds and such. I believe if you add .nomedia to the folder is should hide it from you photos
