adw vs launcher pro

Sense is HTC's proprietary software, like Touchwiz is for Samsung.

For me the folder icons alone are with the price, to each their own. Thee are good free options if you want to be a typical android user and keep your $3 (this is why I tell my buddy he should make iphone apps instead :D)

I'm using adw launcher ex and really like the speed and new features. I love long pressing items and having a menu pop up to remove, uninstall or edit. I also prefer that Nexus look and feel.

I here theyre both the same except ADW is a bit laggy...not sure about ADWex....but then again I've spent more time using LPP so wouldn't even know if that's true or not.

I'm a paid LP+ user and ADW is by FAR smoother than LP+. I've tried to work out the issues with Fede on the forums but he seems to not think there's a problem.

I really hope the new update of LP+ addresses this, because the fact that a free launcher is kicking its butt doesn't say much.

I will say the LP+ widgets are the one attraction right now, but that's about it.

What you running? Lot of free ram? Still have touchwiz? Many widgets or homescreens? Try turning LP memory usage to high?

I didn't have very much lag with LP, a skip in the animation opening the drawer here and there.
