after 4.1.2 galaxy s3 update

Now I don't have the ability to change my lock screen from pattern to anything else. I cant even turn it off.
I updated yesterday and after the reboots its fubar

any help is appreciated

Do you have a VPN connection set up? I've heard that having one can grey out your lock screen options. If that's not the issue, maybe some app you have installed doesn't play nice with 4.1.2.
